Start points for Thursday rides

Our Thursday rides normally start start in one of two places:

50 Jopling Way, Hauxton , Cambridge CB22 5HY. We meet outside this private house (where the ride leader lives) which is about 5 miles south-west of Cambridge City Centre
Haslingfield Village Green. Haslingfield is about 6 miles south-west of Cambridge City Centre. The village green is immediately east of the church, with the village sign in the middle. We assemble by the Joan Wooldridge Memorial Seat near the sign.

What we do

We organise four or five cycle rides a week throughout the year. Newcomers are welcome on all our rides.

Our main rides take place on Sundays: all-day (60-80 miles) and afternoon only (30-45 miles), depending on the time of year. We also have shorter Saturday morning rides (about 15-20 miles), at a slower rate than the Sunday rides. We also hold rides during the week. On Tuesdays our senior cyclists' group rides at a gentle pace to a pub for lunch and back (30-40 miles). On Wednesdays in the summer we we have short evening rides. Our Thursday rides are all-day but rather shorter than on Sundays (50-60 miles).
